Gustav Rosted, 27, Denmark, is a travel blogger who has travelled over 150 countries and still counting on. Along with that he is a youtuber and as well as entrepreneur aspiring today’s youth by sharing his stories and videos. You can see his travel stories on Instagram: @gustavroasted and his videos about travelling here. Currently he is helping in sponsoring the orphan kids in Tanzania which he calls his second home.

On being asked what inspired him to travel, Gustav said; ” When I was a kid, my parents took me to nearby countries like Norway, Faroe Islands. I believe that if you see more things than you crave for to see even more and that’s what my inspiration is.”

We love travelling for many reasons like new cultures, food, landscapes and many more and so as he. For him the best thing about travelling is to meet new people and learn more about thier culture and country.

Gustav said; ” I really don’t have a particular pattern for travelling. I love variations so sometimes I go for road trips and when the city is quite beautiful, then I love to roam around the city with no map to see what happens next.

I think IMPROVISING is the best way to travel because that’s how the funny stories usually happen.

Along with travelling he owns a company for E-Commerce and helps children who are facing difficult times. He always believes to do things for other people.

Sharing his unpleasant experiences during travelling, Gustav said; ” I went to backpacking to West Africa and hitchhiked. I was going to Ivory Coast from Liberia and we found a big roadblock in a village. I was with one of my friend from Canada and we both wanted to go to Ivory Coast but we got to know that they blocked the road for like past 2-3 days.

” We didn’t want to stay there, so we decided to leave the place. I came out of the car and I was going down to the car and saw that two people got shootout by the police and then villagers started throwing the homemade bombs to the car.

There were so much explosions and shootings; really insane situation and after 10 mins the road got finally cleared, and it really felt like some scene from the Fast and Furious.

He is very fond of solo travelling as he believes that when a person travels with someone he thinks he is not lonely but sometimes he is missing more interesting opportunities.

Lastly Gustav said; “ For me, being solo traveler is everything. Everyone needs to get out of their comfort zones and try fresh adventures. Once you do, it, you’ll probably won’t stop it in your life.“
